Adventures in San Pedro

What started as a trading post by Spanish missionary monks, the San Pedro Bay was first used by Spanish ships starting in the 1540s. With a rich maritime history, and an Ethnically diverse community, we were thrilled when our longtime clients and friends Greg & Yunnie Morena told us they were continuing to grow their brand by opening a new restaurant in “Pedro.” With 30 years of entrepreneurial ventures between them, including their wildly successful restaurant, The Albright, the longest-running restaurant on the Santa Monica Pier, Pappy’s menu emphasizes sustainable and local seafood, sourced fresh from the Port of Los Angeles. In addition to meal a Pappy’s, here are a few of our favorite other places not to miss in Historic Downtown San Pedro.
